The cannula is striated to avoid trocar slipping. It also has a manual lockgate (it can be opened/closed by the laparoscopic instruments or by surgeon wish) in order to avoid CO2 accidental leak or to evacuate excess smoke if necessary. The device comes with a universal luer lock connection to inflate the abdominal cavity with pneumo through the trocar. The trocar tip is conical and has a dilating insertion system.

Disposable Optical Trocar: 3 mm: Device with a diameter of 3.5 mm and 65 mm long for laparoscopic instruments should preferably between 2.5-3.5mm.
Disposable Optical Trocar: 5 mm: Device with a diameter of 6 mm and 100mm long for laparoscopic instruments should preferably between 4.5-5.5mm.
Disposable Optical Trocar: 10 mm: Device with a diameter of 11 mm and 100mm long for laparoscopic instruments should preferably between 5-10.5mm.
